Ameera Mian
Ameera Mian is a British Pakistani up-and-coming screenwriter. She graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Growing up in a large family, Ameera discovered her passion for storytelling at a young age and often entertained her cousins by weaving imaginative tales of alternate worlds intertwined with our own reality. Her parents, both established in scientific fields, taught her that imagination was the foundation of innovation and through captivating experiments, demonstrated how extraordinary narratives could find validation in the realm of reality.
Ameera's love for animation led her to Mummu Studio, where she contributed to the creation and writing of animated shorts and commercials. She not only honed her animation and illustration skills but also wrote her first comedic short DECORATING which was showcased on BBC Radio. While leveraging her artistic talents to map out storylines, Ameera expanded her repertoire to live-action, which includes the semi-biographical feature BEST FRIEND BOX and sci-fi pilot THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT. Her current career in modelling also inspired her short FASHION KILLER.
